Guest Starring: Lisa Edelstein as Sarah Stanner“Top of the Hour” – Olivia finds herself in the middle of a media storm, but this time she’s on the opposing side of the oval office when Fitz’s pick for Supreme Court Justice is caught in a torrid affair with Liv’s new client, high-powered CEO Sarah Stanner (Lisa Edelstein). Meanwhile, Olivia and Jake continue their flirtatious relationship, while Huck takes Quinn under his wing and Harrison and Abby try to figure out where they stand with their friendship. Back in the White House, Cyrus and Mellie continue to fight for Fitz’s attention, but someone else may already have it, on ABC’s “Scandal,” THURSDAY, MARCH 21 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Olivia finds herself in the middle of a media storm in Scandal’s “Top of the Hour.”
The March 21st episode sees Olivia on the opposing side of the oval office when Fitz’s pick for Supreme Court Justice is caught in a torrid affair with Liv’s new client, high-powered CEO Sarah Stanner (Lisa Edelstein).

Thoughts: Clearly that man is Fitz’s SCOTUS pick right? (Boy does Fitz know how to pick them, right? This will be the second side-eye worthy SCOTUS pick? Remember season 1?! Remember Verna?! -sighs!- All jokes aside though…)

Thoughts: Jake’s keeping up his end of Olivia Pope watch, isn’t he? I wonder how he’ll play off that “Who’s the Guy” bit. Based off Fitz’s reaction there, is it safe to say that THIS is how that photographer spoiler comes into play?

Thoughts: Cyrus has his own Gladiator Evidence Wall going on there. Zoom in Gladiators. That’s Lisa Edelstein on the wall. So is it safe to say that Cyrus is investigating the scandal surrounding Fitz’s SCOTUS pick? Also Mellie’s involving herself in Fitz’s policies…again!!!

It looks like a vote wall. If the Supreme Court nominee has to be confirmed then that might be a wall of people voting for his confirmation which is why Cy looks so happy.
Mellie’s looking real unproductive.. Where’s Teddy??
I agree it could be a vote wall. Either that, or a group of witnesses they need to discredit Lisa Edelstein in order to make it look like she is a slut, thus the judge was a “victim” of her behavior when he was her professor in college (That’s when the relationship between Edelstein and the Supreme Court Judge happened). But the vote wall is what makes the most sense. Counting whose vote they can still get on after the scandal erupts.
Good catch!! On second glance it definitely looks like it’s a vote wall Cyrus has going on to discredit Lisa Edelstein’s Scandal character! (Yes I also agree with the Mellie + Teddy questions.) Thanks Ale & M!

Thoughts: Jake paid off that photographer!!! Look at how Fitz went frombeing pissed off in the last photos to all content in these photos???
Cyrus is probably telling Fitz about the hostage crisis and the SCOTUS scandal pick in that last photo. I bet Cyrus got something scandalous on the woman that ignited the scandal too! After all he did say to Olivia in thepromo trailer, “Shut this down!”
